Leo A. Vecellio, Jr.
Vecellio Group, Inc.
President, Chairman,
and CEO |
When it comes to quality, there are no
shortcuts in the heavy/ highway contracting industry. Whether
building bridges, highways, runways or taxiways, quality is what
counts down the road.
From mining aggregate to laying asphalt, we’re proud of our
long legacy of providing “excellence in contracting” to our valued customers.
Since 1938, we’ve grown from a small company in West
Virginia to a multi-state family of contracting firms that now ranks as the
126th largest in the country by revenue.
This type of success takes all of us working together, with
quality and safety as our guiding beacons. That’s why we’re so proud of our
family of employees, the skilled men and women who ensure the quality of our
work, day in and day out.
By working together and making high-quality results a
cornerstone of our operations, we’ve built our growth on a sure foundation, one
that provides a steady footing as we continue to meet the many challenges and
opportunities our industry has to offer, now and in the future.

VGI Sponsors ‘History of Hot-Mix’ Project
(1st/2nd Quarter 2005)
The history of hot-mix asphalt in the
United States is a story that’s worth telling — and the National Asphalt
Pavement Association (NAPA) is putting together a book to do just that.
Due for publishing in November 2005, the
hot-mix history book is being financed by a group of NAPA members whose roots go
back quite a few years themselves. One member is gold-level sponsor Vecellio
Group, Inc., with a contribution of $10,000 and an advance order for a
substantial quantity of books.
For more information on the NAPA project,
please contact Margaret Cervarich at NAPA headquarters, (888) 468-6499 or mbc@hotmix.org.
