There have been many tough challenges during the Vecellio Group’s seven decades of service, during periods of growth as well as in leaner times, such as the current economic downturn being experienced by much of the world.

Managing through these tough times requires staying true to the cornerstone values of our operations: quality, integrity and service, performed with an emphasis on safety.

The industries in which we operate — heavy/highway construction and maintenance, commercial aggregates production, and petroleum logistics — are subject to market forces, too. But we are fortunate in the sense that most of our activities are connected to the nation’s transportation system.

The safe and efficient movement of goods and people, from just around the corner to clear across the country, is a vital part of our nation’s everyday life. The work we do is critical to this: building and maintaining roadways, bridges and runways; producing aggregates necessary for road bases, asphalt mixes and concrete products; and storing and distributing petroleum and fuel products.

As we recognize our employees who have reached career milestones this year, we also applaud the efforts of our entire family of employees, whose commitment to the Group’s core values forms the basis for our ongoing success.
